What is the 4th of July? Simply it is when the 13 colonies of North America :
- NewHamshire
- Massachusetts
- Rhode Island
- Connecticut
- New York
- New Jersey
- Pennsylvania
- Delaware
- Maryland
- Virginia
- North & South Carolina
- Georgia
Seperated themselves from the Britsh empire and regarded themselves as a new nation: THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!
What does the 4th of July mean to me, it means Freedom, a way of thinking differenty than others and respecting how a free country lives, and the Freedom to do this without consequences.
Another way of saying the 4th of July is Independence Day; Independence of what you may ask! Well- the rule of an empire. Being an American means you are free to be who and what you want to be – An example of that would be our present President; who is from an immigrant family and a wealthy business man, and because he is an American he had the freedom to become our President.
What do we do on the 4th? We have great barbeques, pinics, fireworks, laughter and alot of fun celebrating our Freedoms with family and friends!
